THE ROLE
Are you a people-person with a heart full of compassion and a go-getter attitude? Are you excited to bring your positive vibes and keep cool under pressure – even when the phones keep ringing? Then this, my friend, might just be the perfect fit!
In this lively position, you will be the friendly face (voice) of Animals Australia, responsible for connecting with our supporters and helping them, help animals. From answering heartfelt calls, and navigating emotional conversations, to juggling emails, social media and more – you’ll be a pro at handling whatever comes your way. Every day will be different, and yes, it will be busy, but that’s what makes it exciting, right?
What you’ll be doing:
- Building meaningful connections with our supporters via phone, email and social media.
- Juggling calls, emails, and socials while making quick decisions with a smile!
- Processing donations, merchandise purchases, and campaign enquiries like a champ.
- Managing supporter data with a ninja-level accuracy and attention to detail.
- Supporting a variety of office-based tasks, at least 1 day/week

ABOUT YOU
You are a positive, can-do person who thrives in fast-paced, busy environments. You are just as comfortable handling emotional conversations on the phone as you are moderating social media and responding to email. A born multi-tasker, you know how to prioritise, stay cool under pressure, and build strong relationships with ease.
Our ideal person is:

- Confident on the phone and in writing, with experience communicating with a variety of people
- Flexible and adaptable – happy to work both in the office and remotely
- Proactive, organised and efficient in a fluid and responsive environment.

- Openminded – a willingness to challenge your own thinking to get the best outcomes for animals
You’ll stand out further if you also have:
- Experience working in a similar environment for NFP, animal protection, advocacy etc
